Description of each section of the site

The site is made up of a number of sections. On this help page, we try to explain the purpose of each section.

At the very top of each page we have place a number of useful page links and our logo. The page links are:

  • Home which takes you back to the first page of our site (clicking on the logo has the same effect)
  • About has a brief history and a description of our philosophy and our reasons for producing this site
  • Membership/Members area. Some of the buttons change depending on whether you are logged in or not. When you are not logged in this button takes you to the form to sign up as a member. When you are logged in it takes you to the members area.
  • Login/Logout. Once you have signed up as a member you can login to the site. Once logged in the button changes to a logout button. Clicking the logout button takes you back to the login screen.

The second section on every page is the Quick Finder section. You can search for craft airs, craft exhibitors or potential stall holders, craft suppliers or craft groups. The quick search is limited to search by county. You do not need to include the whole name.

The third section (not on all pages) is the advertising and current a craft picture.

The section you are reading now is the contents section. This section is used to display the results of searches, include forms or other craft content.

Tips and Tricks

Exhibitors

Before contacting an organiser, make sure you have added your exhibitor listing. A link to your listing will be sent to the organiser, giving them a lot more information and you only have to do the work once.

  1. Log in
  2. Click on the "promote your craft" link
  3. Complete the form and submit

Build a list (on your exhibitor listing) of events you are interest in just by contacting the organiser:

  1. Log in
  2. Find a craft event you are interested in
  3. Contact then using the form on their page

If you later confirm a place at the event the organiser can move you up to a confirm table or attendee. This automatically builds a list of your confirmed events on your own page. Simple.

Organisers

Move a contact to a confirmed table or attendee by:

  1. Log in
  2. Go to your own event page
  3. Click the plus next to the contact
